Internazionale Milano secure their 20th Italian Serie A after a chaotic win against close rivals Ac Milan 2-1 in the Derby de la Madonina at the San Siro.
With five games to go, Inter "The Nerazzuri" as nicknamed came into the game looking for maximum points to lift their second scudetto title in three years and 20th in club history, this came to life in the 18th when Franscesco Acerbi powered home a free header from the corner and also send his team for the break on the lead.
With more 45 minutes to play, Ac Milan came back for second half with more energy and aggression but all this was made inevitable and most importantly when the on form Frenchman Macus Thuram culled a perfect shot to the back of the net in the 49 minutes to make it 2-0. goals from and on form respectively put them feets away from the crown.

This later saw three players being sent off, Ac Milan's Theo Hernandez and inter's sub Denzel Dumfries in the 93th minute for escalating a scuffle and Davide Calabria in the 97th minute for puching an opponent.
Inter could have won by more with Lautaro Martinez missing a sitter and Hakan Calhanoglu's drive being tipped over by Mike Maignan. This was the first time the Serie A title has ever been won in the 116 years of the Milan derby. "I feel like crying because we worked so hard, we deserve this joy," said captain Martinez, who has scored 25 goals in all competitions this season. "It's been wonderful but we have to keep going because we've already won a lot of trophies and we want to win many more."
Inter Milan's 20th Italian crown takes them above AC Milan's 19 Serie A titles and only below Juventus, but this was only their second title since 2010, last winning under Antonio Conte in 2021.
Simone Inzaghi brings the good times back to the Nerazzurri, cruising to the Scudetto with five games to spare on the back of a 27-game unbeaten run in the league,they have scored 79 goals, 15 clear of anybody else, and conceded only 18, eight fewer than any other side.
